Mike strives to make a difference in as many lives as possible and stands ready to help anyone that is serious about achieving financial independence. He co-founded Game Plan Retirement in 2005 and has been a licensed financial professional since 1989. He was hired as the Regional Director of Pension Sales for Lincoln Financial Advisors in Chicago in 1995 and remains affiliated with Lincoln today.

Prior to joining Lincoln, he was a Financial Consultant at Merrill Lynch, a Regional Investment Specialist at Charles Schwab, and a Pension Consultant at Pension Solutions. Mike played high school football (both offense and defense) at Indiana powerhouse New Palestine High School. Our logo represents him (the pulling guard), opening a hole for you (the running back), that leads to a touchdown (your goal). He studied Agricultural Economics at Purdue University, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Corporate Financial Management from Ball State University, and an MBA from Northern Illinois University. He has attained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification (CFP® certification), the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (C.E.B.S.) designation, and the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) designation. He carries the Series 7, 65, and 63 securities licenses, as well as life and health insurance licenses in many states.

Mike has run 4 marathons, visited Machu Pichu via the Inca trail, climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania with his wife Kim, hiked the Grand Canyon and Mahoosuc Notch of the Appalachian Trail with Kim and his daughters, Gabrielle age 15 and Michaela age 13, and is ready to help you achieve the adventures of your dreams.

A lot has changed in the Investment Business since Mike joined Merrill Lynch right out of college in 1989, “Which sometimes feels like it was 1889”. From vacuum tubes for stock trades, Quotrons for stock quotes, and the newfangled fax machine they received on his first day, to the websites, Monte Carlo Analysis, and zoom meetings of today, Mike has always embraced technology and evolution. One thing that hasn’t changed is the value of a knowledgeable insider that cares about you and the accomplishment of YOUR goals.

If you are serious about achieving financial independence at any age, we are ready to help. Game Plan Retirement "What's your Game Plan?"
